Liberty University transfer courses from Tri County Technical College?

I'm attending Tri County Technical College and interested in transferring to Liberty University. Does anyone have experience with transfer courses between these schools? Which ones are accepted?

While I don't have specific data on the courses from Tri County Technical College that Liberty University accepts, generally most schools, including Liberty University, tend to accept general education credits easily - these typically include courses in humanities, social sciences, and hard sciences with lab components. More specialized, upper-level courses might have a chance to be transferred too, but usually, it requires approval from the department at Liberty.

What you need to do first is pull together your transcripts and then consult with a transfer advisor or admissions counselor at Liberty University. They'll help you establish which of your courses will transfer directly and what kind of credits you'll receive. You can ask the registrar at Tri County Technical College to send your transcript directly to Liberty University or you can request an official transcript and submit it yourself.

Also, remember each college or university generally has a limit on the number of credits they'll accept as transfer credits and they may also have policies around the minimum grade you need to have received in the class for it to be eligible for transfer. The exact numbers would vary, so I would recommend checking with Liberty's transfer policies.

But, in order to get the best picture of what credits Liberty will accept from Tri County Technical College, speaking with an admissions officer or counselor at Liberty would be your optimal plan of action.
